Clara Acero

Executive Director

Clara is the executive director of Kingdom Charitable Trust. In this role, she is responsible for strategic planning, operational management, grant and program oversight, stakeholder relations, and grant management. Clara actively represents the KCT board in the community, promoting the foundation's vision and enhancing its impact in key areas of interest.

 

Prior to her tenure at Kingdom Charitable Trust, Clara held the position of grants liaison and special project manager at a national agency focused on education, prevention, and intervention for at-risk girls. Supported by the Department of Education (DOE) and Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP), she facilitated access to evidence-based mental health services and educational programs for over 40,000 young women, empowering them to succeed at home, in school, and in their communities.

Throughout her career, Clara has assumed leadership roles at prominent universities and esteemed hospitals in South Florida. She has successfully fundraised over $30 million for various nonprofit organizations, demonstrating her commitment to advancing community welfare. Notably, Clara chaired the 34th Annual Woman's Volunteer of the Year Luncheon, sponsored by Saks Fifth Avenue, where she recognized 21 nonprofits in Palm Beach County for their outstanding contributions.

 

Clara holds a Master's in Data Analytics and a Bachelor’s in Biology with honors from Florida Atlantic University. Committed to civic engagement, she actively participates in the Executive Women of The Palm Beaches Foundation, the Florida Chamber Early Learning Advisory Board, the Human Trafficking Coalition of Palm Beach County, and the Junior League of Boca Raton. She also contributes to the Housing and Homeless Coalition committee of Palm Beach County and serves on the Board of Children's Harbor, a nationally accredited organization that provides support and sanctuary to at-risk children and youth.
