Clara Acero

Executive Director

Clara is the Executive Director of the Kingdom Charitable Trust, a Private Foundation that collaborates with inspiring organizations to holistically improve the lives of those most in need. She is responsible for strategic planning, operational management, grant and program management, stakeholder relations, financial oversight, and distribution requirements of the Foundation. Moreover, Clara represents the board within the community and ensures the efficient execution of the Foundation’s vision and impact within the geographically defined areas of interest.

 

Before joining Kingdom Charitable Trust, Clara was the grants liaison and special project manager of an education, prevention, and intervention national agency that assisted more than 40,000 at-risk girls in finding success at home, in school, and in their communities through access to evidence-based mental health and year-round middle and high school classes; supported by the Department of Education (DOE) and Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP).

 

Throughout her career, she has worked at major universities throughout South Florida and renowned hospitals and has fundraised over $30 million for various nonprofits in her community. More recently, Clara chaired the 34th Annual Woman's Volunteer of the Year Luncheon sponsored by Saks Fifth Avenue, honoring 21 nonprofits across Palm Beach County, Florida.

 

Clara earned a Master's degree in Data Analytics from Florida Atlantic University and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology with honors from Florida Atlantic University. She actively participates in the Junior League of Boca Raton and the Human Trafficking Collation of Palm Beach County. Additionally, she serves as a member of Palm Beach County's Housing and Homeless Coalition committee.
