Joyce Tsheko, R.N.

Joyce Tsheko was born in Zimbabwe, Africa, where she completed her primary and secondary education. She later moved to Botswana, Africa, with her family upon her father's return to his native land. Upon moving to Botswana, she furthered her passion to help people through healthcare and studied Nursing, Nurse Anesthesia, and Midwifery.

 

Upon completing her studies, she worked as a nurse anesthetist and managed the Anesthesia Department in her homeland. She later moved to the U.S., where she further established her career and continued working in various specialties as a nurse. More recently, her experience has allowed her to travel extensively throughout the U.S., to further her specialty as a nurse and work in a diverse range of clinical settings providing quality care.

Joyce's humble upbringing and care for people have developed into a calling to help widows and orphans--particularly underprivileged children and families. She serves as director of children and families on the Kingdom Charitable Trust Advisory Board. She utilizes her passion and energy for supporting the foundation's grantmaking initiatives in working with organizations that promote children's and families' economic and social well-being in economically disadvantaged communities.
